The Excalibur Food Dehydrators are the top of the line, the best dehydrators on the market.

The Excalibur dehydrators come in a few different sizes and colors. The most popular is the 9 Tray Deluxe, model 3900.

Available sizes for the Excalibur Dehydrator include the 4 Tray, 5 Tray, and 9 Tray.

The 4 Tray is available in the black color only. The Excalibur 5-Tray and 9-Tray are available in a white or black color.

The Excalibur 4-Tray, 5-Tray and 9-Tray are available in the 2000 Economy Series. The 5 and 9 trays are also available in the 3000 Deluxe series.

The Deluxe series is a better value because it has a longer warranty. The Deluxe models 3500 (5-Tray) and 3900 (9-Tray) come with a full 10-Year warranty, while the Economy series has a full 5-Year warranty.

The Deluxe has a longer warranty because it has upgraded electrical wiring. The Deluxe also comes with a free copy of the official Excalibur recipe book titled "Preserve It Naturally", a $25 value. The Economy series does not come with this book.

All Excalibur food dehydrators come with one mesh sheet for each tray. The mesh sheets have tiny holes in them.

The Paraflexx Premium non-stick sheets are not included with the dehydrator. The non-stick sheets are different than mesh sheets. The Paraflexx sheets do not have holes.

Paraflexx Premium non-stick sheets are $7.50 each when purchased with the Excalibur. Most people purchase one Paraflexx sheet for each tray.

The Paraflexx sheets are used to dry foods with high water content, and sticky foods. For example, you use the non-stick sheets to dry foods like tomatoes, fruits, fruit leather / roll-ups, raw crackers, marinated vegetables, and breads.
