These blenders compare to the Vita-Mix and BlendTec blenders, and they are considerably less expensive.
The basic model, the B2300, is similar to the Vita-Mix TurboBlend 4500 home blender. They are both 2 horsepower motors with two speeds. There is a switch for a slow or fast speed. You start out blending on slow, and once the ingredients start to blend, you kick the switch up to high speed.
The next model, the Omega B2400, compares to the Vita-Mix 5200 home blender or the Vita-Prep 1005 commercial blender. These 2 horsepower blenders have a knob for a variable speed control. You can start off blending on slow speed, then turn the knob to gradually increase the speed to the high speed.
The Omega blender B2500L compares to the Vita-Mix Drink Machine Two-Step Timer Blender. It has a large 82 ounce container. This blender has a built in timer with automatic shut-off feature. Automatic shut off allows unmonitored blending if you need to multi-task.
The Omega Blender model BL630 is the 3 Horsepower version. It is available in a choice of three colors: white, red, or silver. It features Variable Speed controls with Timer, Pulse and Infinity Controls, comes with an unbreakable 64 oz. Tritan Copolyester Container, and has stainless steel blade assembly.
