The Tribest Solo Star 2 does an excellent job making juice from all fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, wheatgrass, barley grass, and sunflower green sprouts.
It will juice everything from soft fruits such as oranges and grapes, to hard vegetables such as carrots & beets, to leafy greens such as kale, spinach, & parsley, and even grass and sprouts such as wheatgrass, barley grass, and sunflower greens sprouts.
This juicer has a slow turning gear which does not heat the juice. This saves all the nutrients in the juice. It is better than centrifical juicers because it does not put air or oxygen into the juice.
The cheaper centrifical juicers use a fast spinning disc which puts air into the juice, which causes the juice to quickly oxidize and loose it's freshness. The slow turning auger on the Solo Star prevents oxidation and the juice stays fresh for a longer period of time. You could make a large quantity of juice in the mornings, store the juice in an air-tight container, and it will still be fresh in the evening.
As a masticating juicer, the Solo Star II can also grind and homogenize foods. It can make frozen fruit 'ice cream' sorbets. It can make nut butters. It can grind nuts, seeds, vegetables, herbs, and spices into a pate or sauce.

the Welles Hydraulic Press Juicer.SoloStar utilizes a unique dual stage process that extracts juice more efficiently than other auger juicers. It filters out juice during an initial crushing phase before it can be reabsorbed into the pulp, then squeezes the remaining pulp in secondary pressing phase for maximum yield.
