Hi Mike,
I love the Super Angel. I use it weekly making green drinks and carrot juice. I started growing wheatgrass and just tried juicing it today. It turned out great. I've started a raw food diet and am finding that I really like it. My goal was to be at least 80 percent raw and I have reached my goal. I do find it a little difficult when I go on a trip but will figure it out in time and with experience.
Thanks again for checking in,
Blessings,

Hi Mike!
Oh wow! What a difference this juicer is making! I was shocked at how much richer and sweeter the juice is.
And I love the quiet operation! I wake up first in my household and used to have to wait for everyone else to get up before I could juice. That old Wal-Mart juicer was painfully loud! Now I can juice first thing, my favorite!
I love how easy it is to use and the clean-up is great! Juicing is actually fun for me now. Not just a necessity!
I have recommended it to everyone I know and my dad and sister both bought one also! Thank you so much! Have a beautiful day!

Hi Mike,
So far I'm very happy with the Super Angel 5500 juicer. It has certainly met my expectations for a juicer in this price range. The only other juicer I personally have owned is an old Braun centrifuge juice. The two are not comparable. I never liked the Braun because of the amount of waste it produced (very wet pulp).
The Super Angel does an excellent job of extracting as much juice as possible and leaves behind a very dry pulp. Dry enough that if I leave it in the reciprical container for a couple of hours absolutely no liquid accumulates at the bottom of the container. I've also tried to squeeze the pulp in my hand and was unable to extract any juice from it. At least, this is my experience with juicing greens. I haven't done much else with it yet.
It's doing a great job on the greens - but I haven't yet tried to put Wheatgrass through it. I am also pleased with the quality of construction and it's operational noise level is very reasonable. In my search for a juicer I had considered the Norwalk (the king of juicers - and 3 times the price of a Super Angel). But now, seeing how the Super Angel works, I think the Norwalk would be a waste of money. Norwalk may yield a slightly higher amount of juice, but what a messy operation compared to the Super Angel - I think the cost/benefit would be hard to justify.

Hi Mike,
Here is my Super Angel Juicer report. #1 my first impression was i couldn't believe how thin the steel was in the funnel attachment, it seams flimsy and I'm not confident it will last [my hand juicer is cast stainless could hammer nails or crush rocks with little impact on utility although it's not eficient]
#2 the scrapper knife is flimsy too . but obviously some serious brains came up with the idea
#3 the plunger is first class, maple is as good as it gets, comfortable easy to clean nonporous...
#4 cleaning the funnel is a bit uf a pain but so what. what do you expect! it's a complex shape
#5 the plastic tubs suck! one came broke. i broke the other one the first use by dropping the crusher gear on it .i jently tapped it out whops surprise a pound of sharp steal cracked the bottom of the tub like a hammer ...but i hate plastic!!! hence buying a stainless juicer...i had already desided to replace them with stainless at the first opernitunity any way so .no love lost thair .wish angle had used steel in the first place
#6 i would have spent $200 extra for more sturdy parts and had no complaints at all i wonder if the comercial models use cast parts.
#7 this is still the best juicer i ever used or seen. it eats any thing fast but likes hotdog diameter best
it's so efficient the pulp comes out like cardboard i had a goofy grin on my face as i tried to light it on fire with a lighter! I was almost disappointed when it didn't catch but the little coal burned and traveled up the flake for 20-30 seconds after the flame was removed, someone deserves a medal for such a refined and elegant design [ my hand crank juicer is at least 40% less efficient per pound of veggies, you can squeeze a steady stream of fluid from the pulp]
#8 the thing is beautiful, easy to clean, amazingly efficient, quiet, it makes me proud to own it
it gets a 100% on every aspect, save probable durability. I'm not on the design team so maybe there were complications with forming the complex shape of the funnel or it could be harder to clean with thicker steal . if it was cast steal the screens would have to be seperate from the funnel assembly this might mess up its one piece design which is obviously responsible for it's increadible capabilitys
#9 if these complaints were addressed the only other tip i can offer is maybe gold plated model...
My health has been bad for a while and drinking fresh juice gave me so much more energy than I've had in months it's great.
if you could forward this to the designers i would realy be happy
Thank you Mike,

Hi Mike,
Thank you so very much for this fantastic Super Angel Juicer. I just love it.
Mike, it is so quiet to operate, it handles all of my juicing needs with ease, it looks so lovely sitting on my counter because it is all stainless steel, and last but not least, it has saved me so much money because it extracts every precious drop of juice out of my produce. It is an excellent investment.
With cheaper juicers, you throw away so much juice in the pulp that they end up costing you a lot more. Thanks again. I would definitely recommend this juicer to EVERYONE!
Take care,

Hi Mike,
I do think the Super Angel 5500 is a very fine juicer, however is there any way to order another screen for the juicer? The advertisement I saw said it could do pate, I tried it and I want to continue making more pate's as well as juices. Because the screen is so hard to clean after grinding the meat pate, it would be easier and safer if I had 2 different screens for each use. Please let me know.
Thanks,

The following Super Angel Juicer Testimonial is quoted from Amazon.com I had my GreenStar Juicer for four years. I juiced from 8 to 13 juices a day and it kept running. It was much cheaper than the Norwalk juicer and probably a lot easier to clean with less steps involved in juicing, although the pulp was not as dry as it could be.
I decided to try the Super Angel mainly because it was impossible to clean the Green Star. The plastic pieces are stained and it looks pretty awful (but remember 4 years of daily juicing!) since the Super Angel 5500 is made entirely of stainless steel.
The Green Star is around $450 and the Super Angel is $895 so you are paying more.
But here are the differences:
SA much easier to put together, 3 parts vs GS at 7.
SA much quieter.
SA much easier to clean and sterilize (you can put stainless steel in dishwasher but not the GS with its plastic).
Finally, the pulp is drier with the SA meaning you are extracting more vitamins and minerals and buying less produce.
I haven't had the SA long so I don't know if it has the staying power of the GS but I'm extremely happy with the results.
If you can afford it I would suggest the SA. It would probably have made up the difference in cost with the produce I was juicing fairly quickly (at 8 to 13 juices a day). I started juicing after I was dx with clear cell ovarian cancer. I was very serious about juicing but didn't think I would be able to consistently juice with the Norwalk (too hard & time consuming).
Although I haven't used a Norwalk (I have seen videos on how to juice with it) I don't think you could get any more juice from the SA pulp and the SA is a lot cheaper than the Norwalk, which at the last time I looked into it was running around $2000...
But back to the Greenstar: I have to say for the money the GS was a faithful worker but terrible to clean. Since Amazon.com doesn't sell the Super Angel I googled it and order it from another site. I've ordered hundreds of items, books, gifts, etc. from Amazon and I would have liked to order the Super Angel 5500 from them but they didn't carry it.
